Fuji Speedway is a Japanese race track near the summit of Mount Fuji. It has hosted the Japanese Grand Prix four times, the two initial runnings in 1976 and 1977, and in 2007 and 2008. Fuji fell out of favor after the 1977 running, as subsequent Grands Prix went to the Suzuka Circuit. It while alternate with Suzuka starting in 2009, with Fuji being run on the even years.
Fuji was used as the track for the popular 1982 video game, Pole Position. It was the first real life circuit used in a video game.
