Frugolf's Analysis: West Virginia- Pitt

This was one of the poorest exhibitions of officiating I've ever witnessed.

I'm a Penn state fan so I was rooting for W.Va.in the beginning.Then, my

sense of fair play took over and I found myself hoping the Panthers could

overcome the obvious bias the officials had for W. Va. My only question is

was there something for the refs to gain from W.Va. going to the BCS or

were they just W.Va. grads.

For what its worth I do have to agree with you. The officials blew two horrible holding calls that almost cost Pitt the game.

West Virginia didn't play to their potential against an obviously weaker opponent in Pittsburgh (or Pitt, as they are now called, I think). They didn't take care of business and now they're getting what they deserve. Did I neglect to tell you that WVU is a dry campus?
