Fritz Ferko (John Frederick Ferko) was born on July 6, 1912. After going to high school at Mauch Chunk (PA), Ferko attended West Chester University of Pennsylvania. Ferko made his professional debut in the NFL in 1937 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles for his entire 2 year career.
