I am not a cycling fan. For no reason, I just do not get in a twitter over the sport in the same way that I do for football or baseball. I do not like the Tour de France because it is in France and I take political issue with the country. ( A blog for a different site) Ok, all of that being said, the decision again Floyd Landis today is a crying shame. And I am one to believe that he did not use performance enhancing drugs.
It is being reported that he received the fairest trial that he is ever going to recieve surrounding this issue, even though he can appeal to the higher Court of Sports - and who the heck are they anyway? Oh God, and are they French? He is doomed. Does it not occur to anyone that they have run this tired story against American cyclists everytime they have won the Tour? Is that not ironic? They could not get Lance, so they will go after the nexy guy.
Now on the other side of that, he could actually be guilty, but why? Seriously, why would an athlete at that level take drugs knowing that cycling is the most regulated sport on the planet. We all know that Lance had to pee in a cup on the road, at home, during all hours of the day - he made that public. So really, can an athlete be that arrogant? This is my question of the day!
