| The Philadelphia Eagles
|
| Much expected from the men in green this NFL season. Super Bowl dreams were held by many fans. Then the 2007 season began. After only four games, a .500 record may be the best possible final outcome.
The Eagles are a team in tremendous disarray. It starts with the head coach, Andy Reid. Coach Reid had some serious family issues involving his sons and drugs and guns during the off-season. Many questioned whether this would affect his ability to lead and stay focused. Those questions are alive and well today. Be it not having a punt returner on the club to start the season, or refusing to help a guy starting at left tackle for the first time in his career, Reid seems not to be with it.
Problems continue on down the line. The team’s QB, Donovan McNabb is returning from a serious knee injury. He is not what he used to be, physically. He may never be what he used to be. And this is bad news, for McNabb has never developed the accuracy needed to be an effective QB with little mobility. In addition, it is quite clear that McNabb is highly insecure. The combination of these two things may signal the beginning of the end for the McNabb era in Philadelphia.
The Eagles are 1-3 and have a bye. Lucky for them, this earns them only a nomination for the Friday Fryer. Any loss in October, however, may lead to the Chair itself.

| Travis Henry
|
| Henry, the father of nine children with nine different women, sure has a lot of time on his hands…to get high! It is being reported that Henry failed a drug test for marijuana. He is facing a four game suspension from the NFL for this failed drug test.
Of course, losing 1/4th of your yearly salary and having 9 kids to feed is asking a lot. So ole Henry has sued the NFL, in Federal Court, in the hopes of not getting suspended. Good luck with that lawsuit, Henry.
Henry should be a man, and a role model for his children, and fess up for his actions. Take the punishment like a man. And if you cannot do so, then you should not have put yourself in this position in the first place. It is, I think, time for you to grow up, to say the least. But at least your actions do earn you a Friday Fryer nomination.

| Marion Jones
|
Liar.
Cheater.
Fraud.
Marion Jones this week admitted to using steroids during her track and field career. This is after years of denials. She also announced her retirement.
I say: good riddance! You have not only embarrassed yourself, but you have also insulted and ashamed the country that you ran for. You deserve to have all of your medals returned and all of your records stricken from the record book.
You, madam, are a liar, a cheat, and a fraud. Lets hope we never hear from you again.
