| ArmchairGM’s Users Scoring System
|
| During year one of ArmchairGM’s existence, a simple scoring system was used for users of the site. A user would simply be ranked compared to other users in the areas of editing, opinion writing, and comments. The system was so easy that a cave man could use it!
Like all evitable things, such as death and paying taxes, the ArmchairGM user scoring system was revised for year two. Now, users get a point here, a point there, and fractional points everywhere! This has caused the caveman to become confused. Now, they are demanding cheaper car insurance and their own sitcom on network television. All this because ArmchairGM decided to junk an easy to understand user scoring system and replace it with one that only a true NASCAR fan would love.
Simplicity is the key to growth and understanding. This new user scoring system is not simple and I do not know if a single person understands. Hence, a Friday Fryer nomination stays in-house this week.

| The Tony LaRussa]]
|
| St. Louis Cardinals manager Tony LaRussa is a rare bird. He is among only a handful of baseball managers who holds a degree in law. Yet, as much brains as Tony may have, he lacks a lot of common sense.
This week, LaRusa was found by police asleep behind the wheel of his SUV at a traffic light. The police did an alcohol test on LaRussa and he failed. Hence, LaRussa ended up spending some quality time in jail.
Yo, Tony, how much are you making? Are you that cheap that when you decide to drink, you refuse to take a cab home. Come on, Tony! You are a leader of men and role model to many. Sure, you simply fell asleep at the wheel this time, but maybe the next, you will end up the same way as Pelle Lindbergh did. For this Tony, you get a Friday Fryer nomination.

| Todd Fedoruk
|
| Todd Fedoruk’s role on the Philadelphia Flyers is to be the team’s tough guy. Sure, in the new NHL, physical play, especially fighting, is being limited. Nonetheless, each hockey team still ends a player willing to be physical and drop the gloves when necessary.
Fedoruk has now been knocked out twice in fights this season. The latest knockout occurred this week in a game against the New York Rangers. This knockout resulted in Fedoruk being carried off on a stretcher.
Todd Fedoruk has made a living in the NHL by being the tough guy on the club. This, however, has caused immense physical damage to Fedoruk. For example, he has had mental plates inserted in his head because of injuries sustained during fights. Yet, he continues to be the tough guy. Sadly, this must be stopped. Fedoruk simply cannot be the tough guy anymore. Physically, he cannot withstand the punishment associated with the role any longer. Fedoruk was lucky this time by only needing to be carried out on a stretcher. The next time, however, a coffin may be needed instead of a stretcher.
