| Boston Celtics
|
| Oh my! What has happen to the great eastern pro basketball teams? The New York Knicks are simply bad and are going no where. The Philadelphia 76ers were on pace to have the worse record in the NBA after the team traded away Allen Iverson and brought out Chris Webber. But, lo and behold, the Boston Celtics have become a challenger for worse record in the league.
The Celtics did not win a game this week! Nor have they won a game in the last ten. The Celtics winning percentage is now worse than the Sixers. That is just brutally bad. Hence, the Celtics have earned a Friday Fryer nomination this week. Like everything else, they may have gotten the nod, but still lost the race. Way to go, men in green!

| Terrell Owens
|
| Guess who got another Friday Fryer nomination this week! Yes, my friends, it is none other than Dallas Cowboys wide-receiver Terrell Owens. For real, nominating him is getting to easy. Whenever he opens his mouth to the press, he is almost assured a Fryer Chair nomination.
This week, Mr. T.O. threw retiring head-coach Bill Parcells under the bus. At least T.O. waited until after Parcels retired to do this. Nevertheless, T.O. mouth got him into the dog house yet again. Surprisingly, the mass media hasn’t picked up on it, yet.
T.O., in his comments, compared Parcells to his grandmother in that they are both stuck in their way of thinking. The problem with this is that T.O.’s grandmother has Alzheimer’s Disease. This was made clear during T.O.’s failed attempt to get more money out of the Philadelphia Eagles (i.e. – the teary eye interview he gave during the early stages of 2005).
So, my question is, why would T.O. bring up his seriously ill grandmother to rip Parcells. That was simply wrong, and for that, you, Mr. T.O., get a Friday Fryer nomination this week.

| Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants
|
| The Philadelphia Eagles like to thank both of these clubs for extending the Eagles dominance over the NFC East for the foreseeable future. Simply stated, what are these clubs doing? Are they just desperate and grasping for straws, or just plain stupid, or both.
Let’s start with the Cowboys. It seems quite clear that Jerry Jones picked T.O. over Bill Parcells. So T.O. will be on the team next year, which will be his second year on the club. His second year in San Francisco and Philadelphia were less than ideal. This is then followed by the Cowboys announcing their new offensive coordinator, without first naming a head coach. You all see the train wreck where this is heading?
Now, lets turn our attention to the Giants. The Giants picked the Eagles linebacker’s coach as their new defensive coordinator. This may sound good, picking off a coach from a divisional rival, however, the Eagles linebacker corps killed them defensively this year. They were simply horrible. Nonetheless, the Giants took a wing and a prayer with this selection. The Giants are also in the process of selecting a new offensive coordinator. They are suppose to interviewing the quarterback’s coach of the Dallas Cowboys. I guess the Giants didn’t see the tape of Tony Romo over a month of the season.
Anyway, the Cowboys and Giants earn a Friday Fryer nomination for mistakes that are going to cost them many a game in the future. Eagles fans, however, are thankful of this!
