Freeman Mcneil (Freeman McNeil) was born on April 22, 1959 in Jackson, Mississippi. After going to high school at Banning (Wilmington, CA), Mcneil attended the University of California - Los Angeles. Mcneil made his professional debut in the NFL in 1981 with the New York Jets. He played for the New York Jets for his entire 12 year career.

Most people believe that 1985 was Freeman Mcneil's best year, as he ran for 1331 yards and hauled in 38 receptions.
