Freeman Johns (Freeman Johns, III) was born on December 20, 1953 in Waco, Texas. After going to high school at Rider (Wichita Falls, TX), Johns attended Southern Methodist University. Johns made his professional debut in the NFL in 1976 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Los Angeles Rams for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1976 was Freeman Johns's best year.
