Born on April 29, 1924 in Havana, Cuba, Freddy Rodriguez (Fernando Pedro (Borrego) Rodriguez) played for the Chicago Cubs and Philadelphia Phillies over the course of his 2 year career. Rodriguez broke into the bigs on April 18, 1958 with the Chicago Cubs.
