Freddy Guzman

Freddy Guzman (Freddy Antonio Guzman) was born on January 20, 1981 in Santo Domingo, Distrito Nacional (Dominican Republic). Guzmán was signed as a non-drafted free agent by the San Diego Padres on April 17, 2000. He made his Major League debut on August 17, 2004 going 1-5 with a walk. He hit in his first six games in the majors. Guzman has played for the San Diego Padres, Texas Rangers, and Detroit Tigers over the course of his 3 year career.
