Freddy Garcia (Freddy Adrian (Felix) Garcia) was born on August 1, 1972 in La Romana, La Romana (Dominican Republic). He made his Major League debut on May 2, 1995 for the Pittsburgh Pirates. In 1998, his rookie year, he hit .256 with 9 home runs and 26 RBI. Garcia played for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Atlanta Braves over the course of his 4 year career.
