Freddie Velazquez (Federico Antonio (Velasquez) Velazquez) was born on December 6, 1937 in Santo Domingo, Distrito Nacional (Dominican Republic). He made his Major League debut on April 20, 1969 for the Seattle Pilots. Velazquez played for the Seattle Pilots and Atlanta Braves over the course of his 2 year career.
