Freddie Lindstrom (Frederick Charles Lindstrom) was born on November 21, 1905 in Chicago, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on April 15, 1924 for the New York Giants. In 1925, his rookie year, he hit .287 with 4 home runs and 33 RBI. Lindstrom played for the New York Giants, Pittsburgh Pirates, Chicago Cubs and Brooklyn Dodgers over the course of his 13 year career.

Most people believe that Freddie Lindstrom's best season was 1930, when he slugged 22 home runs, hit for a .379 average and knocked in 106 runs.
