Freddie Gilbert (Freddie Gene Gilbert) was born on April 8, 1962 in Griffin, Georgia. After going to high school at Griffin (GA), Gilbert attended the University of Georgia. Gilbert made his professional debut in the NFL in 1986 with the Denver Broncos. He played for the Denver Broncos and Phoenix Cardinals over the course of his 4 year career.

Most people believe that 1986 was Freddie Gilbert's best year.
