Freddie Ford (Fred Lee Ford) was born on March 30, 1938 in Bakersfield, California. After going to high school at Tulare (CA), Ford attended California State Polytechnic University. Ford made his professional debut in the AFL in 1960 with the Los Angeles Chargers. He played for the Los Angeles Chargers for his entire 1 year career.
