Freddie Childress (Freddie Lee Childress) was born on September 17, 1965 in Little Rock, Arkansas. After going to high school at West Helena (AR), Childress attended the University of Arkansas. Childress made his professional debut in the NFL in 1991 with the New England Patriots. He played for the Cleveland Browns and New England Patriots over the course of his 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1991 was Freddie Childress's best year, as he ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
