Freddie Bynum (Freddie Lee Bynum) was born on March 15, 1980 in Wilson, North Carolina. He made his Major League debut on August 30, 2005 for the Oakland Athletics. In 2006, his rookie year, he hit .257 with 4 home runs and 12 RBI. Bynum played for the Oakland Athletics and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 2 year career.
