Fred Willis (Frederick Francis Willis) was born on December 9, 1947 in Natick, Massachusetts. After going to high school at Kimball Union Academy (Meriden, NH), Willis attended Boston College. Willis made his professional debut in the NFL in 1971 with the Cincinnati Bengals. He played for the Houston Oilers and Cincinnati Bengals over the course of his 6 year career.
Most people believe that 1973 was Fred Willis's best year, as he ran for 579 yards, ran in 4 TDs and hauled in 57 receptions.
