Fred Wallner

Fred Wallner (Frederick William Wallner) was born on April 28, 1928 in Greenfield, Massachusetts. After going to high school at Greenfield (MA), Wallner attended the University of Notre Dame. Wallner made his professional debut in the NFL in 1951 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played in the NFL for 4 years, playing for the Chicago Cardinals the entire time. Wallner also played in the AFL for 1 year, playing for the Houston Oilers the entire time.
Most people believe that 1955 was Fred Wallner's best year.
