Fred Vaughn (Frederick Thomas Vaughn) was born on October 18, 1918 in Coalinga, California. He made his Major League debut on August 20, 1944 for the Washington Senators. In 1945, his rookie year, he hit .235 with 1 home run and 25 RBI. Vaughn played for the Washington Senators for his entire 2 year career.
