Fred Thomas (Frederick Harvey Thomas) was born on December 19, 1892 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He made his Major League debut on April 22, 1918 for the Boston Red Sox. In 1918, his rookie year, he hit .257 with 1 home run and 11 RBI. Thomas played for the Boston Red Sox, Philadelphia Athletics and Washington Senators over the course of his 3 year career.
