Fred Sturt (Frederick Neil Sturt) was born on January 6, 1951 in Toledo, Ohio. After going to high school at Swanton (OH), Sturt attended Bowling Green State University. Sturt made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the New Orleans Saints, New England Patriots and Washington Redskins over the course of his 7 year career.
