Fred Stokes (Louis Fred Stokes) was born on March 14, 1964 in Vidalia, Georgia. After going to high school at Vidalia (GA), Stokes attended Georgia Southern University. Stokes made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Los Angeles Rams, Washington Redskins, New Orleans Saints and St. Louis Rams over the course of his 10 year career.
Most people believe that 1993 was Fred Stokes's best year, as he recorded 9.5 sacks.
