Fred Stanley (Frederick Blair Stanley) was born on August 13, 1947 in Farnhamville, Iowa. He made his Major League debut on September 11, 1969 for the Seattle Pilots. In 1975, his rookie year, he hit .222 with 0 home runs and 15 RBI. Stanley played for the Seattle Pilots, Milwaukee Brewers, Cleveland Indians, San Diego Padres, New York Yankees and Oakland Athletics over the course of his 14 year career.
