Born on June 13, 1889 in Honesdale, Pennsylvania, Fred Sherry (Fred Peter Sherry) played for the Washington Senators for his entire 1 year career. Sherry broke into the bigs on April 25, 1911 with the Washington Senators, and put up a 4.30 ERA in 52.1 innings pitched in 1911, his rookie year.
