Fred Roat

Fred Roat (Frederick R. Roat) was born on November 10, 1867 in Oregon, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on May 10, 1890 for the Pittsburgh Pirates. In 1890, his rookie year, he hit .223 with 2 home runs and 17 RBI. Roat played for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Chicago Colts over the course of his 2 year career.
