Fred Naumetz

Fred Naumetz (Frederick Naumetz) was born on March 28, 1922 in Newburyport, Massachusetts. After going to high school at Newburyport (MA), Naumetz attended Boston College. Naumetz made his professional debut in the NFL in 1946 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Los Angeles Rams for his entire 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1948 was Fred Naumetz's best year, as he picked off 4 passes.
