Fred Lasher

Born on August 19, 1941 in Poughkeepsie, New York, Fred Lasher (Frederick Walter Lasher) played for the Minnesota Twins, Detroit Tigers, Cleveland Indians and California Angels over the course of his 6 year career. Lasher broke into the bigs on April 12, 1963 with the Minnesota Twins, and put up a 4.18 ERA in 66.2 innings pitched in 1970, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Fred Lasher's best season was 1970, when he posted a 4.18 ERA and struck out 52 batters.
