Fred Koster (Frederick Charles Koster) was born on December 21, 1905 in Louisville, Kentucky. He made his Major League debut on April 27, 1931 for the Philadelphia Phillies. In 1931, his rookie year, he hit .225 with 0 home runs and 8 RBI. Koster played for the Philadelphia Phillies for his entire 1 year career.
