Fred Hobscheid (Fred John Hobscheid) was born on April 20, 1904 in Chicago, Illinois. After going to high school at Hyde Park (Chicago, IL), Hobscheid attended Unversity of Chicago. Hobscheid made his professional debut in the NFL in 1926 with the Racine Tornadoes. He played for the Racine Tornadoes for his entire 1 year career.
