Fred Hageman (Fred John Hageman) was born on June 30, 1937 in Bunkie, Louisiana. After going to high school at Batesville (AR), Hageman attended the University of Arkansas and the University of Kansas. Hageman made his professional debut in the NFL in 1961 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 4 year career.

Most people believe that 1961 was Fred Hageman's best year.
