Fred Glatz (Fred Joseph Glatz) was born on July 31, 1933 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Central Catholic (Pittsburgh, PA), Glatz attended the University of Pittsburgh. Glatz made his professional debut in the NFL in 1956 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 1 year career.
