Fred Foster (Frederick Frank Foster) was born on April 25, 1898 in Niagara Falls, New York. After going to high school at Bethlehem Prep (Bethlehem, PA) and Niagara Falls (NY), Foster attended Syracuse University. Foster made his professional debut in the NFL in 1923 with the Rochester Jeffersons. He played for the Rochester Jeffersons for his entire 2 year career.
