Fred Cook (Fred Harrison Cook, III) was born on April 15, 1952 in Pascagoula, Mississippi. After going to high school at Our Lady of Victory (Pascagoula, MS), Cook attended the University of Southern Mississippi. Cook made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the Baltimore Colts. He played for the Baltimore Colts for his entire 7 year career.
Most people believe that 1975 was Fred Cook's best year, as he recovered 4 opponents fumbles and ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
