Fred Broussard (Frederick E. Broussard) was born on April 29, 1933. After going to high school at DeQuincy (LA), Broussard attended Northwestern State University and Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University. Broussard made his professional debut in the NFL in 1955 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers the entire time. Broussard also played in the AFL for 1 year, playing for the Denver Broncos the entire time.
