Fred Biletnikoff

Fred Biletnikoff (Frederick S. Biletnikoff) was born on February 23, 1943 in Erie, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Technical Memorial (Erie, PA), Biletnikoff attended Florida State University. Biletnikoff made his professional debut in the AFL in 1965 with the Oakland Raiders. He played in the AFL for 5 years, playing for the Oakland Raiders the entire time. Biletnikoff also played in the NFL for 9 years, playing for the Oakland Raiders the entire time.
Most people believe that 1969 was Fred Biletnikoff's best year, as he hauled in 54 receptions, had 837 receiving yards and caught 12 TD passes.
