Franklin Gutierrez (Franklin Rafael Gutierrez) was born on February 21, 1983 in Caracas, Distrito Federal (Venezuela). He made his Major League debut on August 31, 2005 for the Cleveland Indians. In 2006, his rookie year, he hit .272 with 1 home run and 8 RBI. Gutierrez played for the Cleveland Indians for his entire 3 year career.
