Frank Tripucka

Frank Tripucka (Francis Joseph Tripucka) was born on December 8, 1927 in Bloomfield, New Jersey. After going to high school at Bloomfield (NJ), Tripucka attended the University of Notre Dame. Tripucka made his professional debut in the NFL in 1949 with the Detroit Lions. He played in the NFL for 4 years, playing for the Chicago Cardinals, Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys over the course of his 4 year NFL career.Tripucka also played in the AFL for 4 years, playing for the Denver Broncos the entire time.
Most people believe that 1960 was Frank Tripucka's best year, as he threw for 3038 yards and tossed 24 TDs.
