Frank Torre (Frank Joseph Torre) was born on December 30, 1931 in Brooklyn, New York. He made his Major League debut on April 20, 1956 for the Milwaukee Braves. In 1956, his rookie year, he hit .258 with 0 home runs and 16 RBI. Torre played for the Milwaukee Braves and Philadelphia Phillies over the course of his 7 year career.
Most people believe that Frank Torre's best season was 1958, when he hit for a .309 average and knocked in 55 runs.
