Frank Szymanski

Frank Szymanski (Francis Stanislaus Szymanski) was born on July 6, 1923 in Detroit, Michigan. After going to high school at Northeastern (Detroit, MI), Szymanski attended the University of Notre Dame. Szymanski made his professional debut in the NFL in 1945 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions, Chicago Bears and Philadelphia Eagles over the course of his 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1947 was Frank Szymanski's best year.
