Frank Seyfrit (Michael Franklin Seyfrit) was born on January 31, 1898 in Carlinville, Illinois. After going to high school at Carlinville (IL), Seyfrit attended the University of Notre Dame. Seyfrit made his professional debut in the NFL in 1923 with the Toledo Maroons. He played for the Hammond Pros and Toledo Maroons over the course of his 2 year career.
