Frank Pitts (Frank Pitts) was born on November 12, 1943 in Atlanta, Georgia. After going to high school at Archer (Atlanta, GA), Pitts attended Southern University. Pitts made his professional debut in the AFL in 1965 with the Kansas City Chiefs. He played in the AFL for 5 years, playing for the Kansas City Chiefs the entire time. Pitts also played in the NFL for 5 years, playing for the Cleveland Browns, Oakland Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs over the course of his 5 year NFL career.
Most people believe that 1972 was Frank Pitts's best year, as he hauled in 36 receptions, had 620 receiving yards and caught 8 TD passes.
