Born on March 29, 1876 in Elsie, Michigan, Frank Oberlin (Frank Rufus Oberlin) played for the Boston Americans and Washington Senators over the course of his 4 year career. Oberlin broke into the bigs on September 20, 1906 with the Boston Americans, and put up a 4.47 ERA in 94.2 innings pitched in 1907, his rookie year.
