Frank Morrissey (Francis Joseph Morrissey) was born on March 11, 1899 in Boston, Massachusetts. After going to high school at Medford (MA), Morrissey attended Boston College. Morrissey made his professional debut in the APFA in 1921 with the Tonawanda Kardex. He played in the APFA for 1 year, playing for the Tonawanda Kardex the entire time. Morrissey also played in the NFL for 3 years, playing for the Buffalo All-Americans and Milwaukee Badgers over the course of his 3 year NFL career.
