Born on May 13, 1886 in Allegan, Michigan, Frank Miller (Frank Lee Miller) played for the Chicago White Sox, Pittsburgh Pirates and Boston Braves over the course of his 7 year career. Miller broke into the bigs on July 12, 1913 with the Chicago White Sox, and put up a 2.29 ERA in 173 innings pitched in 1916, his rookie year.

There is some disagreement on what was Frank Miller's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1919, when he posted a 3.03 ERA, won 13 games and struck out 59 batters. However, others believe that it was 1916, when he posted a 2.29 ERA and struck out 88 batters.
