Frank Mcconnell (William Felton McConnell) was born on August 23, 1900 in Carnesville, Georgia. After going to high school at Commerce (GA), Mcconnell attended Georgia Institure of Technology and the University of Virginia. Mcconnell made his professional debut in the NFL in 1927 with the Buffalo Bisons. He played for the Buffalo Bisons for his entire 1 year career.
