Frank Mahoney (Frank John Mahoney) was born on October 25, 1903 in Omaha, Nebraska. After going to high school at Tech (Omaha, NE), Mahoney attended Creighton University. Mahoney made his professional debut in the NFL in 1925 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played for the Chicago Cardinals for his entire 5 year career.

Most people believe that 1926 was Frank Mahoney's best year, as he ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
