Frank Linnan (Michael Francis Linnan) was born on February 20, 1895 in Pocahontas, Iowa. After going to high school at Sacred Heart (Pocahontas, IA), Linnan attended Marquette University. Linnan made his professional debut in the NFL in 1922 with the Racine Legion. He played for the Racine Tornadoes and Racine Legion over the course of his 2 year career.
