Frank Laurinaitis (Francis T. Laurinaitis) was born on December 20, 1922 in New Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at New Philadelphia (PA), Laurinaitis attended the University of Richmond. Laurinaitis made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1947 with the Brooklyn Dodgers. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers for his entire 1 year career.
